SEVILLE STEAM PUNK - Is it a statue, a portrait, a painting? Ive been asked all three and I say “Yes, yes and yes”, well kind of. In its’ truest sense it’s a statue. With that being said, I saw it as so much more and struggled with just how far to push all three dimensions with a photograph. My goal was to enhance the sense of realism and finish it with the balance of the beautiful surroundings, the color palette and the single dimension of the wall as its backdrop.
