TILL WE MELT AGAIN (GRINNELL GLACIER) | GLACIER NATIONAL PARK, MONTANA

from $50.00

My friend Marian had finally convinced me that I needed to go the Glacier National Park. She was the parks biggest fan (although she was barley 5’ tall). One of the trails she suggested (10 mile hike) was to Grinnell Glacier, provided some of the most spectacular views in the park. I learned never to argue with Marian and taking her advice again, I lead 5 other photographers who had much less hiking experience than I did to the Glacier. With the “No Photographer Left Behind Rule” in-place, we paced ourselves accordingly and were rewarded with a spectacular view and stellar achievement. Shortly before my friend Marian’s passing, I gave her a framed print and thanked her for encouraging me to visit Glacier National Park. She told me it was the nicest photograph of the glacier she had ever seen. The image also received recognition at the Indiana State Fair “Club” competition, representing the Photo Venture Camera Club.
