TRUCKS IN A ROW | CARRIZOZO, NM

from $50.00

I have a soft-spot for older things; people, buildings, cars and everything else I consider interesting. I think about who lived in these buildings, what their lives were like, the cars they drove, the places they visited and the legacy they’ll leave. The thoughts burst into my mind, entertain me and slowly fade away. It was just outside of Carrizizo, NM when I come across “TRUCKS IN A ROW”. The age of these trucks, their worn palette of colors, deteriorating condition and placement along the highway are a telling story of the American South-West, the vehicles, their role in farming, ranching and day-to-day life. TRUCKS IN A ROW makes me think of my legacy and how I'll be remembered.
